My Work Log
Your own history in one place. Every timesheet, prestart, Day Works docket and shift report you submit lands here, split into tabs so you can check status, fix a rejection, or pick up where you left off — without hunting through management screens you may not have access to.
Who can use it — Anyone with access to at least one of the tabs below (prestarts, timesheets, allocations, or shift reports). Which tabs you see depends on your permissions: most site crew see Prestarts and Timesheets at minimum; supervisors who manage shift reports also see Shift Reports. See Roles & Permissions for how access is set.
Where to find it — My Workspace → My Work Log in the sidebar. You're also dropped here automatically after submitting from Start a Prestart, New Timesheet, or New Shift Report — each one lands you on the matching tab. The sidebar badge on My Work Log counts unfinalised shift reports and Day Works coverage gaps that need your attention.
How to use it
The page opens on the first tab you have access to (Timesheets, then Allocations, then Shift Reports, then Prestarts). Tabs you don't have permission for simply don't show. Two banners can appear above the tabs regardless of which one is active:
- A shift report awaiting finalisation banner — reports older than 24 hours that you started as supervisor but haven't finalised. Only shows if you can see the Shift Reports tab.
- A Day Works coverage gap banner — Day Works hours you've logged on your timesheet that don't have a signed or verified docket yet. Tapping it jumps you to the Day Works tab.
Both hide automatically once you're on the tab where the detail already lives.
My Timesheets
Your submitted and draft timesheets for the selected period, plus a Hours snapshot card above the table breaking down Ordinary, OT 1.5×, OT 2.0×, Saturday, Sunday, Public Holiday, Night OT, Rain Pay and Onsite hours for the same window.
- Period chips — This week, This fortnight (default), This month, OT only, and Rejected only. The chip you pick drives both the table and the snapshot card.
- Each row shows the date, project(s), total hours, and status (Draft, Submitted, Approved, Processed, Rejected).
- View opens the full timesheet detail (submitted timesheets only). Edit is available on Draft and Rejected timesheets. Submit for Approval sends a draft or a fixed-up rejected timesheet on. Withdraw pulls back a Submitted timesheet before it's actioned. Delete removes a Draft or Rejected timesheet outright.
My Allocations
Your rostered work — projects, shifts and leave — shown as either a Calendar or a List (toggle at the top).
- Calendar is the inline roster calendar for your own user; click a day to open its shift details.
- List filters by Current, Upcoming, Pending Approval, or Past, and shows project/leave, any Flags (LAFA, FIFO/DIDO travel), your Role, Status, Ack state, and the Roster dates (including fly-in/fly-out or drive-in/drive-out dates where relevant).
- Click a project row (or use View shift) to open the shift details slide-over.
- If a shift needs acknowledging, an Acknowledge button appears on upcoming, not-yet-acked, non-leave allocations — tapping it confirms you've seen it so your dispatcher knows.
My Prestarts
A read-only list of every prestart you've submitted: asset, location, plant name, meter reading, and when it was completed. View opens the full prestart record — checklist answers, defects, and any photos — in a modal. To log a new one, use Start a Prestart, which returns you to this tab when you're done.
My Day Works
Your Day Works dockets — work outside a project's contracted scope that needs its own signed record for billing.
- Coverage gaps — if you've logged Day Works hours on a timesheet that aren't yet backed by a signed or verified docket, they're listed here with the uncovered hours and a Create docket button, so nothing slips through before the client invoice cycle.
- Awaiting client signature tile — a count of your own dockets sitting in Pending Signature, linking back to this tab.
- Today's projects — quick cards for projects you're active on today, each showing whether a docket already exists (New docket, Open draft, or View depending on status).
- My recent day works dockets — your last 25 dockets with docket number, project, date, shift and status (Draft, Pending Signature, Signed, Distributed, External).
- If you manage Day Works dockets, a Manage all dockets shortcut to the tenant-wide docket hub also appears.
To start a new one from scratch, see Day Works Dockets.
My Shift Reports
Only visible if you manage shift reports (typically supervisors). This is where crew shift logs live.
- Quick Add Note opens a fast slide-over to log a timestamped note or photo against today's shift — pick the project, shift, and which crew it belongs to (your own crew, a different/new crew, or the shared Unassigned bucket if you're not sure); it routes to that supervisor's report, creating one if it doesn't exist yet. If the target report is already finalised, your note is appended as a sealed addendum instead of reopening it.
- New Shift Report takes you to the full New Shift Report form.
- Today's open shifts — one card per project you're active on today, showing Not started, Draft, or Final. Start creates and opens today's report for that project (claiming it as your crew's log); Open returns to an existing one.
- My recent shift reports — your last 25 reports with project, date, shift, finalised status, and counts of logs/resources/flagged items.
- If you can administer shift reports tenant-wide, a Manage all reports shortcut also appears.

Tips & common mistakes
- Can't see a tab you expect? Tabs are permission-gated — ask a manager to check your access if Shift Reports or Allocations is missing. See Roles & Permissions.
- Rejected timesheet stuck? Use the Rejected only chip to find it, Edit to fix it, then Submit for Approval again — or Delete it if you no longer need it.
- Day Works coverage gap won't clear? It stays listed until a docket for that project/date is signed or verified — a draft docket alone isn't enough.
- Quick Add Note vanished into "Unassigned"? That's normal if you picked the shared bucket or weren't sure which crew — management picks those up, but it's worth confirming the right supervisor next time so it lands directly on their report.
- Shift report banner won't go away? Only the crew supervisor who started the report can finalise it — if it's not yours, it won't nag you.
